The Macarthur Bulls aren't shy of good team members, but there's a new guy on the scene who's shaping up to be a fan favourite.
The Bulls have just revealed their latest acquisition, their new Bull mascot who will appear at home games.
And one creative local played a big part in making the bull part of the Macarthur FC family.
The club and sponsors Macarthur Square launched a competition in December calling on locals to submit suggestions for the bull's new name.
The winning name - Arthur - was chosen out of more than 500 entries.
Eight-year-old Narellan resident Liana Martins coined the moniker and got to meet the new mascot at the Macarthur FC store at the shopping centre on Thursday with older brother Cooper.
"Here at Macarthur FC, we are thrilled to have finally put a name to our latest addition to the team, with the help of our supporters," Macarthur FC general manager of operations Natalie Matich said.
"Arthur The Bull is as great as they come - he's determined, energetic and he's even quite handsome.
"Born in the Macarthur region, he always puts his team first like our community.
"With this name, we cannot wait to see his personality develop even more.
"Arthur is ready to continue meeting fans at Macarthur Square, at home games and out in the community.
"When you see Arthur The Bull be sure to give him a big hello."
Arthur is set to make his big debut at the Bulls' home game against Perth Glory at Campbelltown Stadium on Wednesday, January 26 (Australia Day).
Attendees are encouraged to ring their cowbells and chant his name.
Macarthur Square centre manager Trevor Hill said the shopping centre was proud to have played a hand in Arthur's introduction.
"Bringing the mascot to life is not only a proud moment for the club, but for us as a centre management team," he said.
"It's great to know that Arthur the Macarthur FC Bull will be seen across the centre and region.
"We know supporters will love seeing him on the field very soon."
