Two Macarthur charities received a Christmas boost thanks to the folks at Camden Valley Inn.

Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation received $5000 worth of toys and vouchers, while Blue Wren House was given $5000 to support women and families affected by domestic violence.

The pub worked with both charities to ensure the donations would be just what they needed.

Camden Valley Inn general manager Kayla Seeney said the venue loved helping out local organisations.

"We really wanted to do something to help children in need and their families over Christmas," she said.

"We are so pleased to be able to donate $10,000 worth of toys and vouchers to help make their Christmas a little brighter and we hope they put a smile on some faces this holiday season."

The CVI team also participated in Christmas gift-wrapping at Macarthur Square.

All proceeds from the endeavour - which was by gold coin donation - were donated to Kids of Macarthur.
