Bulls fans - here's your chance to name the newest member of the squad.

Macarthur FC and Macarthur Square will launch the club's new mascot, a bull, at their first home game of the new year - and you could be the one to name it.

The person who suggests the winning name will get to meet the new mascot first, be provided with a special opportunity at an upcoming home game and receive a family pass to the game, including a dining voucher to redeem at Macarthur Square before the match.

Macarthur FC general manager Natalie Matich said naming the mascot was a big step for the club.

"The launch of our official mascot, together with Macarthur Square, is yet another significant milestone at our Club; and I guess it is no surprise that our official mascot is a bull," she said.

"The bull continues to pay tribute to the region's 1795 runaway herd and club colours whilst adding another personality to the club.

"We are looking forward to a fan being given the opportunity to name the mascot and we encourage the community to have fun with this. This name will give life and continue defining the personality of our mascot."

Macarthur Square centre manager Trevor Hill said "we are looking for a name that is reflective and honours our past, present and future. The new mascot demonstrates the great passion members of our community have when they see the Bull in action".

Entries to name the Macarthur FC Bull open on December 21 and close on December 29. Submissions can be made online via www.macarthursquare.com.au or in-person at the Macarthur FC store.
