The ACT has recorded eight cases of COVID-19 ahead of the further easing of restrictions in the national capital.
The latest figures show there are 10 people in hospital including seven in intensive care and five on ventilators.
So far, 91.4 per cent of Canberrans aged over 12 have been fully vaccinated.
The ACT plans to ease a number of restrictions on October 29 and November 1.
Mandates on face masks outdoors are due to be scrapped on Friday, with household gathering limits doubling from five to 10.
Density limits at cafes, restaurants and pubs will increase, while cinemas, museums, zoos and entertainment venues will be allowed to reopen.
Quarantine rules will change from November 1, in line with the resumption of open travel between NSW and Victoria.
Casual contacts of COVID cases will no longer need to undergo quarantine if they are fully vaccinated, but will still need to isolate until they receive a negative test result.
For close contacts, quarantine times have been halved from 14 to seven days, with a negative test needed on day six.
