Campbelltown retiree becomes millionaire with Lotto win

A Campbelltown retiree is sitting pretty after becoming a millionaire this week.

The local was shocked to discover the win three days after his Lotto numbers were drawn.

"I was going to check my ticket today anyway, but then I got a letter," he told The Lott.

"That's how I found out I'm a millionaire.

"It's a bit of a surprise. I've been playing Lotto probably all my adult life.

"I don't know if I ever thought I'd win the big one, but you've always got to look on the bright side, I suppose.

"It's certainly made my day!"

The winner said his family would be happy with the win too, as he'd be sharing it with them.

The six-game QuickPick entry was purchased at newsXpress Campbelltown (Macarthur Square).

It's the second division one winning entry sold at the agency this year.
