Meanwhile the push by Australia's men's 470 team of Mat Belcher and Will Ryan to secure an Olympic medal is on hold with sailing delayed due to the lack of wind on the Enoshima course.

The venue was supposed to host the final two races in the men's and women's 470 classes, as well as the medal deciders in the 49er class for both genders later Monday.

The competitions have now been postponed until Tuesday.
