Campbelltown libraries to host Pride Month events

The experiences and stories of Campbelltown's LGBTQIA+ residents will be celebrated at local libraries as part of Pride Month.

Pride Month showcases the achievements and contributions of LGBTQIA+ people around the world and celebrate the achievements of residents to provide the wider community with an insight into the lives and experiences of their neighbours.

Special rainbow storytime sessions will be held across Campbelltown's library branches this week.

The community is also invited to a Rainbow Forum at the HJ Daley Library on Thursday, June 17.

The forum will be a chance for LGBTQIA+ locals will share their experiences of growing up in Campbelltown and western Sydney.

A special screening of the documentary film, The Doctor's Wife will be held at the HJ Daley Library from 6pm on Friday, June 25.

The film is about director Jonathan Duffy and his partner, Dr. Vincent Cornelisse, making the move from inner city Brisbane to a small country town.
