Newcastle coach Adam O'Brien has taken aim at his hot and cold NRL outfit, demanding less talk and more action after they were "manhandled" in a 36-18 loss to Wests Tigers.
The Knights dropped to 4-6 with the loss at Suncorp Stadium and O'Brien admitted he'd lost his patience at the success-starved club.
"The leaders need to lead; their No.1 job isn't to walk around the joint talking about the performance, it's to perform," he said.
"I'm just really disappointed; in the physical parts of the game we were just beaten to the punch and beaten up in that first half with and without the ball, just manhandled.
"We've got to find a way in this club to learn how to win again and what it takes week in, week out and that sits with me."
Hymel Hunt re-injured his hamstring while Sauaso Sue (HIA) was another casualty and Mitchell Barnett (high shot) and Kurt Mann (crusher tackle) could be suspended after both were reported.
Mann's potential absence could leave the Knights short of halves. However O'Brien is hopeful experienced half Blake Green (ribs), Kalyn Ponga (groin) and Brayden Musgrove (ribs) could all be back to face North Queensland on Thursday.
