Young gun Josh Philippe is one of five unanimous selections in the BBL's team of the tournament, which has been picked by club coaches.
Philippe, who is in line to make his international debut on Australia's Twenty20 tour of New Zealand, scored 454 runs to help Sydney Sixers top the table.
Sydney Thunder opener Alex Hales, who leads this season's run-scoring charts with 535 at 41.15, was also selected by all eight BBL coaches asked to nominate their all-star XI.
Hobart's Ben McDermott also received a maximum eight votes, as did Perth Scorchers Colin Munro and Jhye Richardson.
Adelaide paceman Wes Agar was given the nod by seven coaches, while Glenn Maxwell, Adam Zampa, Dan Christian and Mark Steketee also earned selection in the XI.
"This is a team that would be highly competitive in any T20 match anywhere in the world," BBL consultant Trent Woodhill, who designed the rule changes introduced this summer, said.
"The quality of cricket throughout this campaign and the strength of this team is also emphasised by the calibre of those who have missed out.
"Including the likes of Alex Carey, Chris Lynn and Peter Siddle, who all had exceptional seasons."
Hales, Munro and Adelaide Strikers tweaker Rashid Khan were the international players included in the side.
Cricket Australia named a 13-man team of the tournament, including Marcus Stoinis and Daniel Sams as 'X-factor' substitutes.
