There is no doubt that Camden's younger residents have enjoyed frolicking around the Curry Reserve Water Play Space in summers past.

Residents also waited in great anticipation for the new Oran Park Water Play Space to open earlier this year.

The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic might've dampened those plans but Camden Council is set to open both of its popular water play parks on December 4.

The council took to Facebook to announce the good news.

"Our water play parks at Oran Park and Elderslie will open on a trial basis from Friday, December 4," the post said.

"When you arrive, please follow the latest social distancing guidelines and register your attendance via the QR code at the entrances."
