A house has been gutted at Rosemeadow after succumbing to fire overnight.
NSW Fire and Rescue crews from Rosemeadow, St Andrews and Campbelltown attended the scene on Sebastian Avenue shortly before 1am on Wednesday, November 11 after receiving several 000 reports a large two-storey house was on fire.
Responding within six minutes, crews arrived "to find a rapidly escalating fire and the house well alight", Fire and Rescue Rosemeadow reported on Facebook.
"Eighteen firefighters worked using multiple hoses and a tanker to contain and extinguish the blaze," they posted.
"The home was totally destroyed by fire and investigations are ongoing."
Fire and Rescue St Andrews reported the building collapsed shortly after arrival.
The job required the use of the HAZMAT Pumper, CAFS Pumper, 4x4 Tanker, Aerial Pumper, Bulk Tanker and Duty Commander vehicles.
The Campbelltown crew responded to a minor reignition of the fire shortly after 9am this morning.
