Man stabbed in Campbelltown, police investigation under way

A police operation is under way after a man was stabbed at Campbelltown yesterday.

Emergency services were called to a motor inn on Queen Street at 10.10am on Sunday, October 18 following reports of a fight between two men.

Campbelltown Police Area Command officers attended and were told a man was stabbed in the head by another man, who then drove from the scene in a white Toyota Camry Altise.

Shortly after, the Camry was located on Lugarno Street, Leumeah.

The injured man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.

Two crime scenes were established on Queen and Lugarno streets and a search is under way.

Police believe the men are known to each other.
