The Macarthur FC Bulls have continued their signing streak, securing the talents of defender Aleksandar Susnjar and forward Moudi Najjar.
Susnjar, 24, has represented Australia with the Socceroos and has played professionally around the globe, while Najjar, 20, joins the club on loan from Melbourne City.
The Bulls will mark Susnjar's first taste of the A-League, following stints in Romania Lega 1 (Gaz Metan), the K-League (Busan IPark), Czech First League (FK Mlada Boleslav) and the Baltic League (Ekranas Panevezys).
Susnjar previously played under Macarthur FC coach Ante Milicic in the Olyroos squad in 2018.
The Perth-born centre back said he was excited to rejoin the coach at his new club.
"I really enjoyed my time with Ante in the Olyroos in 2018," he said.
"To be given an opportunity by Ante to learn from him again was something that I was immediately excited about.
"To be part of the inaugural squad for an A-League new club is an opportunity that rarely happens in your career.
"No doubt we have plenty of hard work ahead, but it's a challenge I'm looking forward to."
Milicic praised the six-foot-three left-footer for his commitment to the game.
"Alek impressed me greatly with his commitment and professionalism he displayed during the Olyroos AFC Under-23 Championship campaign in 2018," he said.
At only 24, Alek has gained plenty of experience and opportunities playing across many leagues in Europe and Asia.
"I'm looking forward to seeing Alek continue to develop his skillset and reach his full potential with the Bulls in the A-League."
Najjar, a Fairfield junior, joins the Bulls on a one-year loan agreement for the 2020/21 season.
He joined the A-League in the 2018/19 season and scored his first topflight goal in last season's final regular season match.
Milicic worked with Najjar during the 2018 Young Socceroos under-19 Championship campaign. He praised the youngster's commitment.
"Moudi is a very versatile player who has plenty of potential," he said.
"Ivan [Jolic] and I have worked with Moudi previously with the Young Socceroos. Althought it was only for a short campaign, I was impressed by his work rate and commitment to his game.
"He is a strong player who works hard on and off the ball.
"I'm delighted that he will be part of our inaugural squad."
The signatures of Susnjar and Najjar take the Macarthur FC Bulls squad out to 10, including several fellow Socceroo representatives.
Tommy Oar was the club's inaugural signing, while Mark Milligan is the Bulls' marquee man - and likely captain.
The rest of the squad is Denis Genreau, Adams Federici, Matt Derbyshire, Ivan Franjic, Milislav Popovic and Nick Suman.
Club jerseys are now on sale for the first time.
The Macarthur FC Bulls join the A-League in the upcoming 2020/21 season and will play home games out of Campbelltown Sports Stadium, at train at Fairfield Showground.
