Vinnies Tahmoor has been closed since March due to Covid-19 restrictions however, Vinnies NSW has now made the decision to close the store permanently.

The Vinnies shop has been a staple store in the community for several years.

A Vinnies NSW spokeswoman told the Advertiser that the decision to close the Tahmoor location had been a difficult one.

"Vinnies Shops are an important part of the society's good works with funds raised through the shops used to assist people experiencing poverty and disadvantage," she said.

"The society has made the difficult decision to close the Tahmoor shop which has not been open since March due to Covid-19 shutdowns.

"The shop will now be merged with the Picton shop and our valued Tahmoor volunteers will be offered the opportunity to join the shop at Picton."

The St Vincent de Paul Society has several Vinnies locations across Macarthur including The Oaks, Camden, Campbelltown and more.
