Woman allegedly stabbed in Tahmoor; man charged

A man has been charged after allegedly stabbing a woman in Tahmoor yesterday.

Emergency services were called to a business on York Street at 10.40am on Monday, August 10 following reports of an alleged violent domestic incident.

Officers found a 32-year-old woman suffering lacerations to her hands and a fractured wrist upon arrival at the scene.

She was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Campbelltown Hospital for treatment.

A 62-year-old man was arrested at the scene and also taken to hospital for assessment.

The man was taken to Narellan Police Station upon his release from hospital, where he was charged with wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (DV) and assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV).

He was refused bail and will appear at Campbelltown Local Court today (Tuesday, August 11).
