Macarthur locals who have frequented the Camden Hotel, Wests League Club or the Gregory Hills Hotel in recent years may have been lucky enough to hear the soulful sound of Chris Sebastian's voice.

Now the pub performer has reached new heights by taking out Australia's biggest singing competition, The Voice.

Sebastian was chosen as the winner of the Channel 9 show during this season's finale episode.

The Voice Australia website said the final vote came down to less than 0.5 per cent separating first and second place.

He wowed audiences and the judges with a rendition of Numb by Linkin Park.

Sebastian appeared on the first series of The Voice Australia in 2012 - at the time his famous brother, Guy Sebastian, was not a judge on the show.

The singer auditioned again this year as an All-Star contestant.

He chose to be on Kelly Rowland's team rather than Guy's and went on to become the former Destiny's Child singer's grand final choice.

Koteras, a Macarthur local, appeared on the reality singing show in 2014.

This dynamic duo have become a crowd favourite around local venues for their soulful covers and stage-presence.

Sebastian and Koteras headlined the Camden Jacaranda Festival last year, they have also appeared at Live and Local events in the region, TASTE Camden and other Macarthur festivals.
