Police charged a man yesterday afternoon after he was caught driving in Campbelltown allegedly five times over the legal limit.
About 5.40pm on Thursday March 12 officers from Sydney City Police Area Command pulled over a Daimler on Narellan Road due to its manner of driving.
The driver, a 56-year-old man, was subjected to a random breath test which returned a positive result.
The man was arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where a breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.252.
He was charged with drive with high range PCA- second offence and his license was suspended.
The man was granted conditional bail and is due to face Campbelltown Local Court on Tuesday May 19.
