Iconic Aussie rockers, Choirboys, will take to the stage alongside an impressive music line-up at Band Together 2020.

The Wollondilly Council concert fundraiser is a chance for residents, businesses and organisations to thank local emergency service workers and enjoy a family-friendly day out.

Golden Guitar winners Christie Lamb and Luke O'Shea, CMC award nominee Missy Lancaster, Darling Brando and Southbound will also take to the stage during the event.

The bush fire crisis that gripped Australia in the latter half of 2019 through to 2020 has had a devastating impact on communities around Australia, including Wollondilly and the Southern Highlands.

Wollondilly mayor Matthew Deeth said Band Together 2020 was a way of coming together to celebrate our local heroes who worked tirelessly to keep the community safe.

"Our community was heavily impacted by the bush fires so this is a great opportunity for everyone to come together to say a huge thank you to all the firefighters and emergency services staff and volunteers who worked incredibly hard to protect our community," he said.

"All the money raised from this event will be distributed to our local RFS units, along with the local SES and Wires groups."

The benefit and relief concert will be held at Club Menangle, Trackside, Menangle Park on Saturday, March 28 from noon to 10pm.

Festivities will run throughout the day with food and beverage stalls, family amusement rides, market stalls and more.

Live music acts will take to the main stage from the afternoon right into the evening.

There will be free entry to the event for local RFS, emergency services and their families.

All children will be free and adult tickets will be $20 each.

Tickets are on sale now at bandtogether2020.com.au.
