Macarthur residents are being urged to nominate their favourite Cambelltown business for a Local Business Award.

The Campbelltow Local Business Awards celebrate the regions businesses big and small.

Award founder Steve Loe said nominating businesses was a great way to say thank you.

"We all say thank you when we have been served in a business," he said.

"But there is a more public way to show your appreciation for outstanding service, and that is to nominate them for the Campbelltown Local Business Awards.

"We have been overwhelmed by the huge number of nominations for this year's awards.

"However, time is running out for Campbelltown residents to put forward the names of their favourite local businesses."

Nominations for the 2020 Campbelltown Local Business Awards close soon.

"Nominating a business for an award is as simple as visiting www.thebusinessawards.com.au," Mr Loe said.

"Your nomination will provide a great morale boost to business-people and their staff.

"Being a finalist or winner in the awards also has the tangible benefit of publicity and even additional business, as people have told us that they a more likely to patronise a business that has been a nominee or awards winner."

The award's major sponsors are NOVA Employment, Wests Campbelltown, Campbelltown City Council, Macarthur Square, Rosemeadow Marketplace, BxNetworking, White Key Marketing, MWLP and My Gateway.
