Macarthur's first dessert festival comes to town

Donuts, cupcakes, handmade cakes, lollies, chocolates - all things those with a sweet tooth love to chow down on.

Well, now locals will have the chance to find them all in one place.

Eat, Shop, Love will host the region's first dessert festival on Saturday, February 8 and Sunday, February 9 from 11am to 4pm.

The inaugural event will be held at the Camden AH&I Hall on Argyle Street, Camden.

Attendees can enjoy a range of sweet treats from several stalls including Soul Food Mumma, Tia - the Oil Lady, Cheat Day - Treat 'Yo Self, Cake Decorating Central, Dolci and Cannoli, Bar Centrale and more.

The expo will celebrate all things sweet with plenty of delicious delectables on offer.

There will also be classes and demonstrations at the new event.

Suppliers will also be on hand for those looking to create their own treats at home.

People can also book a high tea or lovers picnic for the event.

General admission is $7, children's entry is free.
