Children are invited to become famous French painter, Claude Monet, these school holidays as a part of Camden Council's school holiday program.
The Make a Monet workshop, for children aged between seven and 12 years, will be held on Wednesday, January 22 from 10.30am at Oran Park Library.
Local artist Abigail Ristevski will run the workshop and teach attendees about Impressionism, Monet and his love of gardens
Tickets for the workshop are $10 each.
Camden, Narellan and Oran Park Libraries are also holding a number of other exciting activities these school holidays, including:
- the Tom Foolery Circus and Magic Show on January 14,from 10.30am, at Narellan Library.
- Painting with Watercolours on January 16 from 2pm, at Camden Library.
- Pyjama Storytime Fun will be held on Tuesday, January 21 at Oran Park Library, Thursday, January 23 at Camden Library and Thursday, January 30 at Narellan Library, 6-7pm.
If you are going stir crazy at home, Campbelltown libraries are inviting locals to relax and colour in some pictures and patterns between January 2 and January 4.
Each of the libraries will also host a Games Week from January 6 to January 11 with something for lovers of all kinds of board games.
There are also plenty of other live shows, demonstrations and arts and crafts activities on offer across Campbelltown and surrounding areas.
Kids can also make a splash at pool inflatable days at the Gordon Fetterplace Aquatic Centre in Bradbury from January 6 to January 10.
Wollondilly Leisure Centre will also bring back Jump Fest with new inflatables, bigger and better than ever, from January 13 to 17 from 10am to 4pm each day.
Swish Basketball will also run skill development camps at the leisure centre for children of all levels and abilities with an emphasis on skill development in a fun-filled environment.
The basketball clinic will be held from January 22 and 23.
