It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Sydney, but one Macarthur family celebrates the season all year round.

The Evans family from Rossmore are once again running Australia's biggest Christmas festival - the Sydney Santa Spectacular - and promise to deliver a hefty dose of festive cheer.

In addition to providing a smorgasbord of holiday delights like rides, stage entertainment, a glittering 'enchanted forest', face-painting, meet-and-greets with Santa and more, the Spectacular also has a charitable side.

The Evans family drops donated gifts to the Children's Hospitals at Randwick and Westmead every year, and will this year take hundreds of presents to drought-affected farming families in Timbumburi.

Jade Evans said her family loved having the opportunity to give back.

"Being able to play Mrs Claus loading up the Team Santa van and delivering the gifts to sick kids is the highlight of the event for our team and family," she said.

"A few years ago, our son was critically injured and spent months in hospital being cared for and rehabilitated, and our youngest son spent the first few weeks of his life and early this year in hospital with lung issues, so it's nice to now be able to give back and bring some joy to families that are going through difficult times.

"We know just how it feels and it's the little things, especially at times like Christmas, that make all the difference."

The Sydney Santa Spectacular runs from Saturday, November 23 to Friday, December 27 at Penrith Panthers. Tickets range from $40-$60.
