Campbelltown kebab shop breaks snack pack world record

Campbelltown's Queen Street was packed with people keen for a snack on Saturday.

The street played host to a Guinness World Record attempt for the longest halal snack pack ever created - an attempt that was more than successful.

The folks at King Kebab House Campbelltown - and a score of community volunteers - created a 100-metre long snack pack to officially claim a new world record.

Campbelltown mayor George Brticevic and citizen of the year Richardo Lonza (from the Help Save the Wildlife and Bushland in Campbelltown Facebook page) watched on as official scrutineers while the delicious delicacy was constructed on a series of pizza boxes.

All money raised from the event will be donated to Campbelltown Hospital.
