The folks at Narellan Hotel love their schnitzels, but there's something else they love even more - Aussie farmers.
That's why, throughout the month of November, $1 from every schitzel, parma or topper sold at the hotel will be donated to farmers struggling to cope with the Australia's devastating drought conditions.
The Parma for a Farmer initiative will help farmers put food on the table, presents under the tree and assist in feeding livestock during this upcoming holiday season.
Narellan Hotel general manager John Denny hopes the entire community will indulge in a schnitty and show their support for the worthy cause.
"We hope the community will get behind us and donate a dollar too," he said.
"We encourage all locals to get down and support us and buy a schnitty in aid of farmers' relief, because who doesn't love a schnitty, particularly when it's for a good cause."
The good will is extending into December as well, with an additional fundraising initiative taking place in the lead-up to Christmas.
The Narellan Hotel team will host a Drought Relief Helping Hand campaign, encouraging 'generous and supportive' locals to buy a $2, $5 or $10 'helping hand' to place on the Drought Relief Christmas Tree at the venue.
Mr Denny said Macarthur residents could help the hotel reach its fundraising goal.
"Our goal is to raise $7000 and provide some relief for families doing it tough in our backyard."
