The annual event held in Exhibition Park, Canberra is a must-see for fans of all things on four-wheels.

Summernats 33 will be held from January 2 to January 5.

The show-stopping event attracts more than 100,000 people from across the country itching to see the most tricked out cars in the country.

Live music: Summernats is also known for attracting some of the country's biggest live acts, this year Shannon Noll will take to the stage.

The four-day festival will feature more than 2000 cars and a great music line-up.

This year's headliners are Airbourne, Bliss n Eso, Macarthur's own Kerser and Aussie music legend Shannon Noll.

Summernats has been a staple on the car enthusiast calendar since 1987.

The hugely popular car event is the most popular motor festival in Australia.

Back in 2017, the attendance record was set at more than 119,000.

Attendees will be treated to a whole host of high-speed activities including burnouts, motorkhana, 'Honk Ya Horn and more.

Revheads can also check out a range of elite show cars.
