Generous locals have dug deep to raise more than $320,000 for Mater Dei school.

The Camden school held its 19th annual Mater Dei Foundation Dinner this month to celebrate champions from across the community.

The event was held at Campbelltown Catholic Club's The Cube, where the Mater Dei School choir treated a packed house to two songs: We Can Be Heroes and A Sky Full of Stars by Coldplay.

Six young adults from Mater Dei's NextPath program also took to the stage for their inaugural performance, singing the Katy Perry song Roar.

The event was made possible thanks to generous sponsors including Bob Ingham and family, Bradcorp, Campbelltown Catholic Club, the Perich Group, Walker Corporation, Wests Group Macarthur and Max and Nola Tegel.

Almost 600 guests attended on the night, buying raffle tickets, making pledges and bidding on auction items.

Mater Dei is for kids with mild to moderate cognitive disabilities.
