September has finally arrived and the Camden Festival is in full swing.
Camden Council has a jam-packed month full of activities and events for people of all ages to enjoy.
The first cab off the rank was the annual Picnic in the Park.
Residents braved blustery winds and cold weather to throw down picnic rug and relax in the beautiful surrounds of Macarthur Park.
There was something for everyone at the spring picnic, including live acoustic entertainment, delicious treats from a variety of food stalls, a jumping castle, garden games and face painting.
Camden mayor Theresa Fedeli said the rest of September was set to be an exciting month for residents.
"We really transform Camden into one big celebration this month. It's lively, bright and filled with excitement," she said.
"And with all the events held in different parts of the Camden area, it's a great opportunity for new residents to experience different places and see what the broader Camden has to offer."
