There'll be plenty of police action around town on August 31.
But have no fear - it's all for a good cause.
The Camden Police Area Command has called in reinforcements for its 2019 Open Day at Narellan Police Station.
The NSW Police Force dog squad, rescue squad and water police will pay the region a visit for the special event.
Camden PAC's crime coordinator, Sergeant Phil Gornall said some of NSW Police's "fancy toys" would be on show at the event.
"We will have resources here like Polair [helicopter] and the water police's jet skis," he said.
"The kids absolutely love them. They have little toys like that themselves and can see them in real life.
"When you see a smile on the kids' faces, it makes you light up."
The event will allow community members to get an insight into the day-to-day life of a police officer.
Sergeant Gornall said the Open Day was "unbelievably important" for both the police and local residents.
"It's an opportunity for community members to meet their local police and see our resources and what we do," he said.
"In return, it's good for our morale and nice to get a pat on the back."
Sergeant Gornall invited people of all ages - especially kids - to head along to the Open Day.
"It's important for us to interact with young girls and boys who are interested in the police," he said.
"We can show them that we're safe people."
The Narellan Police Station Open Day will be held on Saturday, August 31 from 10am to 3pm.
People will be able to jump behind the wheel of police vehicles and tour the police station. Other highlights will include a barbecue run by Rotary Club of Camden.
