Claymore home severely damaged in fire

No-one was seriously hurt when a home was damaged by fire in Claymore on Friday.

Fire and Rescue NSW were called to a four-level town house on Proctor Way about 2pm on August 9.

Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus, entered the home to conduct a search for any occupants.

Three people managed to escape and were assessed by paramedics.

Two police officers were also treated for smoke inhalation. It took 20 firefighters close to an hour to extinguish the blaze.

Part of the roof collapsed during the fire and the fire was severely damaged.

Fire and Rescue NSW continue to investigate what caused the fire.
