Tim Brook will look to continue his-red hot race track form over the coming days.

The Oran Park driver will compete in round two of the Toyota 86 Racing Series in Townsville, which begins today (July 5) and finishes on Sunday.

Brook leads the series with 280 points and after finishing on top of the podium after round one at Phillip Island in April.

Brook qualified in pole position before winning race one. He then claimed two second places in the Sunday's two races to finish the round in top spot.

Brook - who is the series' defending champion - said back in April that it was a "fantastic way" to start the 2019 season.

"I knew I needed to qualify near the front, but to claim pole position and win the opening race was the perfect way to start the season," he said.

"To back that up with two more podiums and leave Phillip Island with the championship lead is incredible."
