Two men injured in stabbing attack in Ingleburn

Two men have been injured after a stabbing incident in Ingleburn overnight.

Emergency service crews were called to a Sitella Place unit about 8.20pm on Tuesday, May 21 following reports of an assault.

Police were told two men became involved in an altercation.

One man suffered stab wounds to his face and neck, and a second man sustained a near severed finger.

The pair were treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital under police guard. They both remain in a stable condition.

Campbelltown Police Area Command officers established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist forensic officers.

It is understood the two men know each other.
