Putting a stop to "gross overdevelopment" is a top priority for state election candidate Danica Sajn.
The 55-year-old Elderslie resident will run as a Sustainable Australia candidate for the Camden state seat.
Ms Sajn, who is self-employed in the education sector, said she hoped to address many issues in the region should she be elected on March 23.
"Issues in the Camden electorate include gross overdevelopment - thousands of acres if you include future plans as well," she said.
"As well as rampant clearing of farmland and remnant native bushland, far too little provision of essential services including hospitals, schools, transport and more."
This is not Ms Sajn's first foray into politics.
The passionate local has run twice in the NSW State Election as a Greens candidate and once as an independent for Camden Council.
"I am passionate and knowledgeable about local issues and committed to addressing Camden's many needs," she said.
