Forget Wollongong and Cronulla, you only need to drive to Macarthur Square to head to the beach these school holidays.
The shopping centre is once again holding a ‘Macarthur Beach Club’ pop-up play area for children in Kellicar Lane.
The ball-pool and sand area will be set up at the centre until Sunday, February 3.
Kids will have a great time exploring the giant pirate ship sand pit and blue sea ball pit from 7am-6pm each day.
There’s an instagram-able oversized lifeguard deck chair and a mechanical surfboard where you can test your skills riding the waves on dry land.
The little ones will also enjoy the beach club cubby house.
This Sunday, January 27 and Tuesday, January 29 will see kids take part in hula workshops so they can dance just like Moana – and every participant gets a free lei.
Macarthur Square centre manager Trevor Hill said management were keen to repeat the success of the previous Macarthur Beach Club installation.
“We got such great customer feedback when we last opened the beach club that we decided to bring it back,” he said.
“We know that our customers want great experiences and the beach club delivers on that.”
