Two people have been charged over the alleged murder of a man, believed to be from Minto, in Sadlier on Saturday.

Police were called to a home on Eureka Crescent about 3.20pm on January 12 after the body of an unidentified man was found inside.

He is believed to be a Minto man, aged 40.

A crime scene was established and several items seized and taken for forensic examination.

Strike Force Higherdale, comprising Liverpool detectives and the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad, was formed to investigate the death.

Following inquiries, a man, 38, and a woman, 39 – were arrested at a home unit at Warwick Farm about 2am on Sunday.

The Sadlier man was charged with murder and the Warwick Farm woman was charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

They were both refused bail to be in Liverpool court later today, January 14.

Police inquiries continue.
