Pace bowler Jason Behrendorff hopes Australian selectors shelve their much-debated rotation policy in the one-day series against India.
Behrendorff made his ODI debut in Australia's 34-run win against the Indians in the opening match of the three-game series in Sydney on Sunday.
And the left-arm quick hopes selectors stick with a winning formula in game two in Adelaide on Tuesday.
"Hopefully it will be pretty settled now we have got the win first-up," Behrendorff said.
"But then you never quite know what selection is going to do and rotation of roles and stuff like that."
Fellow fast bowler Billy Stanlake will rejoin the 13-man Australian squad after playing on Sunday for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League.
Stanlake, Behrendorff, Jhye Richardson and Peter Siddle are the fast bowlers in Australia's squad with all eyeing more chances to press their selection claims for the World Cup later this year.
"I would love to be involved in the World Cup, you would be silly not to be thinking about it and to want to be involved," the 28-year-old said.
"Right now, I have got two more ODIs to think about first."
Behrendorff took 2-39 in Sydney on his ODI debut and Richardson, in just his fifth ODI, claimed 4-26 and man-of-the-match honours.
For Behrendorff, his first ODI appearance came after a prolonged period of injury which curtailed his career.
The lanky fast bowler initially suffered back stress fractures in February 2015 and has since been worried by back problems.
Behrendorff sat out the early rounds of this season's Sheffield Shield in his bid to win national hours in short-form cricket.
"It has been a really tough road for the last probably three years," he said.
"But to really focus on some white-ball cricket, get some continuity ... and then obviously get the opportunity to play for my country is unreal.
"Making my debut was pretty special and then to get the win against a pretty star-studded Indian line-up was awesome."
