A police investigation is underway after two motorbikes were stolen from a Currans Hill home on the weekend.

Somewhere between 8.30pm on Saturday, October 6 and 7.45am on Sunday, October 7, unknown persons entered a Chapman Circuit property and took a blue-coloured Harley-Davidson soft tail motorbike (registration number OAE48).

The thieves also stole a blue-coloured Yamaha Pee Wee 50cc motorbike.

The owners were home at the time but were asleep and did not hear the thieves inside their home.

Police believe the motorbike were pushed for some distance from the property to avoid making too much noise.

Police ask anyone in the surrounding streets with CCTV footage to see if they can help identify the thieves.
