$2.2 million Lotto ticket sold in Campbelltown

A Macarthur resident could have 2.2 million reasons to smile today (Monday, September 3).

Anyone who bought a ticket in Saturday's $20 million Superdraw at Campbelltown’s Marketfair Newsagency should check their entry.

There were nine division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday draw 3873 on September 1 and each successful entry won a division one prize of $2,222,222.23.

The winning Campbelltown entry was purchased at Marketfair Newsagency at Shop 25A Campbelltown Marketfair.

NSW Lotteries spokesman Matt Hart said the division one winning entry was not registered to a Player Club Card so he had no way of contacting the winner to break the exciting news.

“If you bought a ticket in Saturday Lotto’s $20 million Superdraw from Marketfair Newsagency, we urge you to check it now – you could be our mystery division one winner,” he said.

“If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

Marketfair Newsagency owner Robert Bui said he was thrilled to have sold another division one winning entry.

“It is the fourth division one winning entry we have sold since owning the shop with the last one sold in 2016,” he said.

“It’s great to have another one. We’ve been telling all of our customers who have come in to check their tickets and hope we can unite the winner with their prize soon.”

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3873 were 36, 16, 14, 10, 43 and 5, while the supplementary numbers were 19 and 18.
