There was a sea of colour, sparkles, shimmer and shine at Ingleburn today.
The students and teachers at Holy Family Catholic Parish Primary School had a great time at their annual Book Week parade and performance.
Library manager Dianne Winarczyk said the school was determined to “bring books alive”.
“We really look forward to this every year,” she said.
“We like to make the event theatrical and bring the books to life.”
The 2018 Book Week theme was ‘Find Your Treasure’.
The school’s tie-in performance featured Aladdin and the Genie exploring all manner of treasure before learning that self-belief was the ultimate find.
“The treasure was inside them all along,” Ms Winarczyk said.
The teacher said this year’s event was a huge success and both students and staff had a ball.
