Grace Amos has gone from Cobbitty to the world stage thanks to teen pop sensation HRVY.
The 14-year-old entered a competition to perform alongside the UK singer at his Sydney show last week.
Grace said she never expected to win.
“I sang and played piano to a cover of HRVY’s hit song Personal and posted it on my social media accounts including my Instagram and my YouTube,” she said.
“I was so lucky to win as HRVY has over seven million followers across his social media accounts.”
This was the first time the teen had performed in front of such large crowds.
Grace said she was “incredibly nervous”.
“The only performances I’ve been involved in are at school or in the community, which is a lot smaller than the crowd at [Darling Harbour],” she said.
“Once I started singing, I became more comfortable and I gave it my all.
“I felt so honoured and privileged to be chosen to support an artist like him and I am so grateful.”
The talented songstress performed Personal for her performance.
“Every single person in the audience was singing along at top of their lungs,” she said.
“The atmosphere was incredible and it was such an amazing experience.”
Grace has always been a performer.
She started singing and piano lessons at a young age and hasn’t looked back since.
”I began doing covers of popular songs on Instagram and I have more recently started uploading covers to YouTube,” she said.
“I am in the middle of writing some material right now and I’m so excited to start recording my music and getting it out there.
“Music is my way of expressing myself – as cheesy as it sounds.”
Grace also trains with Hollywood vocal coach Lis Lewis, who also worked with Rhianna, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and Gwen Stefani.
“I only started working with Lis recently and she is incredible,” she said.
“She has worked with so many amazing artists and I feel so privileged to have the opportunity to work with her as well.”
