Hundreds of people ventured to Leumeah last Sunday to celebrate the South East Asian Buddhist New Year.
The special event was hosted by Wat Pa Buddharangsee Buddhist Temple.
An official opening was held at 1pm followed by the Songkran parade and Thai cultural dances.
The parade was lead by the temple’s Buddhist monks.
The fete featured a range of market stalls and entertainment to keep people occupied.
Foodies were delighted by the range of delicious cuisines on offer including traditional Thai and Malaysian dishes.
Officials from the Thai Embassy also attended the New Year event to address the crowd.
