The team at 32 Degrees Building found themselves in the winner’s circle last Wednesday night.
The building company was chosen as the winner of the Service and Trade category and the prestigious Business of the Year award at the Camden Wollondilly Local Business Awards.
Client relations and marketing manager Victoria Dennis said they were overwhelmed to have won the awards.
“We have received such a great response across our social media streams since it was announced,” she said.
“From our clients, suppliers and subcontractors past, present and future, to other local businesses in the area, the response has been very positive and we are extremely proud to have been selected to receive such a recognised award.”
The business, based in Smeaton Grange, specialises in additions, extensions and custom-built new homes.
We are extremely thankful and appreciative to everyone who voted for us.- Victoria Dennis
Ms Dennis said the team had focused its energies on ensuring clients experienced first class customer service and quality craftsmanship.
“This is something that we strongly emphasise and take great pride in,” she said.
“We also work closely with MWLP and regularly take on work placement students.”
Ms Dennis said they also sponsored local sports groups and events.
“We feel that it is a combination of these factors that has contributed to our recognition within the community,” she said.
“We are extremely thankful and appreciative to everyone who voted for us and for the continued support we are receiving in and around the area.”
Alistair Robertson and Denny O’Brien and the team have worked in the building industry for more than 10 years.
“We pride ourselves on the communication we have with our clients,” Ms Dennis said. “We ensure that our clients have an onsite and office point of contact to answer and respond to any questions they may have during each stage of the build.”
Ms Dennis said the company was continuing to grow.
“The past year has seen the company grow from 11 team members to the present 24 and we are continuing to take on additional team members as the company expands,” she said.
“We would like to thank our team members onsite and in the office for their hard work, enthusiasm and commitment to the business.”
