Trade Store Manager

Established in the early 1900’s and proudly Australian, this customer service focused company specialises in the engineering and distribution of Commercial Construction and Retail building products. After enjoying consistent and sustainable growth since its establishment, they have cemented themselves as a market leader its field. As a result of this continued growth, they are looking for a personable, energetic and customer focused Trade Store Manager to join their team in their Coburg office and warehouse.

Your new role

As a Trade Store Manager with this business, you will be responsible for:

• Regular customer service and sales via trade counter, email, and phone.
• Management of procurement and price negotiation of various Trade products from major suppliers.
• Maintaining and developing the Trade Price List.
• Assisting in general administration for the trade counter and the wider office and store.
• Overseeing and management of the Warehouse

- Organise transport and dispatch of goods
- Assist in general warehouse duties where required
- Be a point of contact and assist with the management of warehouse employees

What you’ll need to succeed

To have success in this role, you will need:

• Excellent customer service and price negotiation skills.
• The ability to communicate well and build rapport with tradespeople, suppliers, and the wider team.
• A strong attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A background in Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehousing.
• Computer literacy.
• An approachable nature with the drive to make this role your own.
• The ability to work autonomously and with a team either as a team member or a leader.
