Property Accountant

Your new company
Hays has partnered with a major property investment firm, with a portfolio including industrial and commercial properties. They are currently looking for a Property Accountant with to join their team.

Your new role
In your new role as Property Accountant you will have various responsibilities.

Some core duties will include:

• Accurate and timely reporting of financial information delivered on a monthly basis
• Financial integrity of property assets
• Monitor NPI
• Preparation of analytical data and assist with preparing annual budgets and forecasts
• Lease audit
• Reviewal of financial information to confirm accuracy
• Monthly reviewal of financial performance of properties
• Process improvement

As the Property Accountant you will report to the Finance Manager.

What you'll need to succeed
In your role as the Property Accountant you will need to bring a skillset which will allow you to generate success.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Property management accounting experience and thorough understanding of a Property Accountant role
• MS Office platforms proficiency
• Time management skills and a high attention to detail
• Exceptional communication skills
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting
• Studying towards CPA/CA
