Your new role

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager and working alongside the site’s Service Centre Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day running of the Service Centre’s plant, equipment, and facility. You will be responsible for maintaining mechanical equipment and participate in the maintenance procedures relating to the plant, equipment, and facility. Your duties will also include the day to day mechanical and electrical serviceability of the production line, undertaking maintenance works for other areas of the plant and participate in preventative maintenance programs in relation to the production line and site equipment and facilities to ensure that maintenance works are coordinated and completed in a timely manner.

This role will see you working in Derrimut and you will be on the night shift working Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6am. (start Sunday night, finish Thursday night)

What you'll need to succeed

• Trade qualified or experienced fitter & turner
• Previous Experience in maintenance fitting
• A thorough understanding of the principals of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and associated production line equipment and plant.
• Some experience with MIG welding and/or fabrication
• Professional work practices and a strong work ethic.
• A Positive and constructive attitude
