You will be working with the Gold Coast City Council Maintenance team via Hays Specialist Recruitment.
Your new role
You will be working within water and waste department, your duties will include but will not be limited to; 3 phase electrical, maintenance work on sewerage pumps, water pumps. safety checks and maintenance checks as required.
- Routine planned maintenance
- Reactive/corrective works on lighting systems
- Power reticulation
- Use of various electrical systems
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a highly experienced Electrician specialising in maintenance.You will hold a high respect for safety standards and quality assured works. You will be able to provide an up to date CV detailing your experience in the industry along with two recent references to back you up. Mandatory requirements for this role are listed below:
- Current QLD Electrical Work Licence
- Minimum of 2 years related work experience
- MR licence (highly beneficial)
- White construction card
- LV/CPR ticket
- EWP ticket (desired)
- Basic hand tools
- Strong understanding of electrical safety equipment and codes
