Position Overview
Allygroup is seeking experienced employment lawyers who have around 4 - 10 years PAE experience (EL1 equivalent) for our federal government client. This agency is well regarded and positions with our client are prized.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team who value a good balance of completing work and delivering excellent and holistic legal outcomes and social inclusivity. You will be required to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision. This is also a great opportunity to mentor juniors in the team and continue your professional development.
Our client prefers candidates who are Canberra based. Our client is ideally seeking full-time candidates and will also consider part-time arrangements at 4 days per week. Our client is also open to the possibility of remote working 2 days per week.

Requirements
To be successful you will need to be admitted as a solicitor with at least four years post-admission experience in Employment/Industrial Relations Law, preferably gained in a specialist law firm or government in-house legal department. You will also be required to be eligible to hold an Australian issued security clearance, Negative Vetting One level. Candidates who already hold this level will be highly regarded.
