Armed robbery in Gregory Hills

A man wearing a balaclava threatened staff at a Gregory Hills fast food restaurant with a knife and metal bar last night.

Police are investigating the armed robbery which took place at the restaurant on Lasso Road, Gregory Hills.

Police have not yet named the restaurant involved.

The incident occurred at 10.30pm on Thursday, January 11.

The man was wearing a black balaclava, grey hooded jacket, black track pants, black gloves, and white shoes.

He was handed an amount of cash before fleeing the scene.

No staff were injured.

Detectives from Camden Local Area Command are conducting inquiries into the incident.
