All 18 properties to go under the hammer in a masterplanned development in Tahmoor at the weekend have found new owners.
The rural residential lots at The Acres (165-195 River Road) sold within 24 hours in the first stage of the release.
The development is owned by Urban Land Housing and lots range between 4012 and 6659 square metres. Properties fetched between $665,000 and $699,000.
Urban Land Housing managing director Christopher Lowry was pleased with the response to the first release.
“The sales result in stage one was phenomenal and reflects the dire shortage of premium lifestyle lots in Sydney and the south west,” he said.
“We have more than 1000 registrations of interest, hence were not surprised by the great sales result.
“Most of the rural land lots were purchased by families seeking extra space.
“They were predominantly from south-west Sydney including Tahmoor, broader Wollondilly and Camden.
“Purchasers were drawn to the unique opportunity to live an idyllic tree change lifestyle in The Acres, but with the city conveniences close by in the villages of Tahmoor and Picton.
“Large ranch-style homes will be built on most of the rural land.”
When fully developed The Acres will feature 125 homesites over 110 hectares.
Construction will begin later this year and is anticipated to be complete in late 2018.
