A rogue seal spotted at Newstead on Tuesday morning has been relocated.
Wildlife rangers and officers from the City of Launceston were on deck to help move the 160-180kg Australian fur seal, which had made itself at home in suburbia.
It took about two hours to get him under control.

Wildlife rangers are working to relocate a seal sunbaking at Newstead.
The male Australian fur seal is about 160kgs and decided to take a nap in Kachina Court on Tuesday morning.
Wildlife ranger Matthew Jones said it wasn't uncommon to find seals in suburban areas this time of year.
"They tend to come up the Tamar River, looking for native fish," he said.
Tasmania Police is also on site and it's expected to take several hours to relocate the seal.
Australian fur seals are known to frequent suburbs of Northern Tasmania.
