Local apprentice plumbers can now apply for a Rheem Apprentice Plumber Grants and if successful, will receive $3000.
The grants are available to current and starting apprentice plumbers across Australia.
In previous years, $1000 grants were handed out but this year there are 10 grants valued at more than $3000 each.
Each grant will comprise $2,000 to go towards TAFE/RTO fees and text books and a $1,000 voucher from the merchant of their choice to go towards tools, plus a tool bag.
Rheem’s Chief Operating Officer, Chris Taylor said since the grant program was launched, more than $150,000 has been awarded.
Applications close on March 12.
